This is such a great question to ask yourself (and your potential coach) before diving in.
There are as many styles of coaching as there are coaches, and I encourage you to connect with the one(s) with whom you feel a connection. Be it from what you know about them and their practice, from their personal story and mastery, or perhaps just because you feel it.
Also, I invite you to consider what is it you are expecting from your coach? I suggest, someone who will ask you powerful questions and guide you with sincerity towards the answers that are already there in you but seeming out of reach for now.
The type of coaching I offer has a lot to do with (re) discovering yourself, and with learning to trust who you are, fully, with inhabiting yourself, re-sensitizing yourself to your sensations, to your inner guidance, and to tap into your bodily wisdom.
It might be different to other styles of coaching you have heard of or experienced before! But if you resonate with what you are seeing here, I offer a first free 15-minute discovery phone call so we can have a first chat, and see if we’d be a good fit.

Coaching and therapy can perfectly co-exist, as they serve different purposes.
Therapy (this is just my understanding of it!) often focuses on healing past traumas, addressing mental & emotional health challenges, typically with a licensed professional.
Coaching would typically be more future-oriented, concentrating on personal growth, goal-setting and in my style of coaching, tuning in with your bodily sensations more than anything else.
Many find value in engaging in both simultaneously, but it’s really a case by case choice.
Now, as mentioned above, there are so many different types of coaching available for you to choose from. As a self-discovery & embodiment coach, I utilize embodiment as a powerful tool to help you connect more deeply with your feelings. Unlike more traditional coaching approaches that emphasize finding solutions, my style focuses on recognizing the wisdom and strength of your body. My role is to create a safe space for you and to ask thought-provoking questions that encourage you to immerse yourself in your experiences, enabling you to tap into your own inner wisdom. That is for you to consider if that is a style of coaching you’d like to explore.
Whatever you chose to do, I encourage you to communicate openly with both your therapist and coach to ensure that your journeys complement one another effectively.

While I have chosen to follow my path as a coach, I have also decided to embrace myself fully, and that means, keeping connected with all of my passions and integrate them, when it feels aligned, in my coaching. Or as separate, standalone topics. 
The art of using essential oils is indeed a deep passion in my life, and I am always excited to discuss aromatherapy and aromachology, even if out of the coaching context!
