I am Joëlle, a self-discovery & embodiment coach dedicated to empowering you to connect with your true essence and design a life that excites you, on your own terms.
Finding my way back to myself.
I’ll never forget those precious yet charged childhood summers in Costa del Sol. While other kids danced carefree to “Hands Up,” home videos show me standing alone in the corner, frowning. That image stays with me – a perfect symbol of how disconnected I often felt growing up.
My dear parents, with their foreign accents and unspoken cultural heritage, wanted nothing but the best for me and I’ll be forever grateful. Yet their well-intentioned choices – changing our last name, avoiding discussions of our roots, encouraging me to blend in – left me with a subconscious message: Who you really are isn’t quite good enough.
On the surface, I thrived. Good grades, great friends, a happy childhood. But when it came time to make big decisions, I was lost. I changed university majors constantly, torn between what excited me and what seemed “respectable.” Later, this pattern repeated in careers and relationships – always choosing what looked good over what felt right.
It took me until my mid-30s, after years of unfulfilling choices, to finally ask: “When will you start listening to yourself?”.
That question began my journey back home to myself. Through Human Design (I’m a 3/5 Profile – we learn through trial and error to guide others), embodiment practices, and deep inner work, I discovered something radical:
My greatest weakness – that lifelong feeling of disconnection – became my greatest gift.
Now, I help others shortcut years of self-betrayal by teaching them what I learned the hard way: how to hear your body’s wisdom, trust your intuition, and make choices that align with your truest self – not outside expectations.
Because that little girl in the corner? She wasn’t broken. She just needed someone to tell her she belonged exactly as she was.

“Where are you really from?” I’ve heard this question my whole life. Eurasian by blood (Romanian father, Japanese mother), Parisian by birth, and global citizen by choice.

Tea ceremonies and plant medicine revealed a truth: humans, like plants, thrive at the intersection of science and magic.

Since leaving Paris at 24, I’ve called Singapore, Dubai, Bangkok, and now Hong Kong home – each place teaching me about belonging and reinvention.

While seeking my own path, I came to understand that my purpose in this life is to guide others in finding theirs.
I could have …
… pursued a well-established corporate job, conforming to the expectations of those around me who envisioned me as an accomplished businesswoman.
… stayed in a relationship that wasn’t meant to last, adhering to the belief that divorce equates to failure.
… allowed the belief that “I am not good enough” define my reality and dictate my every action.
I could have, but I’m grateful I didn’t.
I’ve come to realize that a fulfilling life doesn’t look nor feel the same for everyone.
Fulfillment isn’t a formula – it’s a frequency.
And as I started to embody my uniqueness, the feeling of being out of place began to fade.
Eventually, what I once viewed as flaws, imperfections, and inadequacies were not problem to solve, but rather “breadcrumbs” guiding me on new paths to explore, starting with an inward journey.
Now, as a coach, I help others decode their breadcrumbs.
Because that whisper of “there must be more”?
It’s not restlessness. It’s remembrance.
